Introduction

WhatsApp Business was introduced in early 2019 and allows users to connect with companies they do business with. It's not the same as WhatsApp Business Profile, which is a public-facing website or online presence that shows up in search results.

1. Launch WhatsApp on your mobile device and tap on the three-dot menu button at the top right.

You will now be asked to message all of your WhatsApp contacts who have saved your old number in their address book. Tap Cancel if you don't want to do this, or Send Messages if you would like to continue with the process.

5. You will be asked to message contacts who have your old number saved in their address book to avoid confusion. Tap 'Cancel' to skip this step if you wish to do so later or 'Send Messages' to continue with the process.

Once you've changed your WhatsApp business number, you can start sending messages to your contacts. You have the option of sending a message to all your contacts at once or individual messages to each person in your address book. To do this:

• Tap 'Messages.' The first time you open WhatsApp Business, you'll be asked if it can access your phone's contacts and location history for things like finding directions on Google Maps or finding nearby businesses via Foursquare. If not, tap 'Allow' or 'Don't Allow.'
• Tap 'All Contacts.' This will show all of the people saved under this account's name in its list of contacts. Tap on any contact from here to start sending them a message through WhatsApp Business (if they haven't blocked it).

6. You can now use WhatsApp Business with a new phone number

• If you want to use WhatsApp Business with a new phone number, simply follow the steps above. You'll be asked to message contacts who have your old number saved in their address book. This is so they can see that they are chatting with the right person. If you don't want to do this at this time, you can skip it and change your business number later on.
• Once you've changed your WhatsApp Business number and confirmed it by sending an invite link to yourself or someone else, go ahead and change your contact information with everyone else too!
